Cyclist Lance Armstrong has broken his right collarbone after falling during the first stage of a five day race in northern spain. After emerging from a hospital with his arm in a sling, Armstrong said he will return to the United States, where doctors will determine if he will need surgery. “I’m miserable,” said Armstrong. Lance Armstrong is the record seven-time Tour de France champion. “I just need to relax a couple of days and then make a plan.” According to spokesperson for the Vuelta Ciclista Castilla y Leon race, he could be out for 3 to 4 weeks. The crash involved 15-20 other cyclists who were 20 kilometers from the finish.
