After 2 Years of negotiations Cablevision customers in New York, New Jersey, and Connetcuit lost WABC-TV Tonight after

arguments over transmission fees. In a statment released on the website Saveabc7.com, President and General Manager, Rebecca Campbell, said she felt cablevision “betrayed” its subscribers again. “It’s time for Jim Dolan and the Dolan Family Dynasty to finally step up, be fair, and do what’s right for our viewers.”.  3.1 million customers recieve Channel 7 via cablevision. Cablevision has faced similar problems with Scripps networks in early January. Cable systems are allowed to re-transmit Channel 7 under a negotiated, written contract. At issue is the amount of money WABC-TV is paid for its programming. Although Cablevision already pays other programmers, Channel 7 is not paid. For more information, visitwww.saveABC7.com or call 1-877-990-ABC7.
