Wikipedia Back Online After Server Problems

Wikipedia “The Online Encylopedia” is Back Online after There european servers overheated and automatically shut down earlier this afternoon. Admins tried to shift traffic to backup servers in Florida, but that was unsuccseful. “it turned out that this failover mechanism was now broken, causing the DNS resolution of Wikimedia sites to stop working globally”. As on 2:45 PM access to Wikipedia.org or Wikipedia.com resulted in a navigational error webpage. You can read more about this on Wikipedia’s technical blog.
