LOUISIANA COUNTY, VIRGINIA (BNO NEWS/ CHANNEL 6 NEWS) -- Three people were killed and four others were injured on Sunday afternoon after an apparent mass shooting in Louisa County, Virginia.
The shootings happened at the intersection of Kents Mill Road and Twigg Drive, according to the Louisa County Sheriff's Office. Few details were immediately available, and officials said more information would be released later on Sunday.
According to WWBT-TV, the suspect was involved in a firefight with responding police officers. The gunman was said to be among those killed.
"Louisa, Virginia is a very small country village in central Virginia. It is a town populated with about 1500 people. It is not common to have shootings in the area."

I tried to get to BNO news to tell them this but its Louisa county…not Louisiana county. but this really sucs. my husband is living there right now
but i know he’s ok because he’s the one that told me about this. prayers out to the people and families involved. I can’t believe even the little country areas are coming to this.
