Apple Expected to Announce iPad 2
The original Apple iPad was released in 2010. The iPad came in three sizes, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. GB refers to the memory measurement, Gigabyte. When purchasing iPads, consumers had the option of how much memory they needed, but they also could choose whether they wanted 3G connection.
Purchasing 3G connection on the iPad raised the price of the device, but for travelers, it was often worth it.
Originally, the iPad only ran on AT&T’s 3G network, however, it currently runs on Verizon’s as well.
As a free bonus, you can engrave your iPad when ordering online. When giving the iPad as a gift, this is a wonderful addition.
On March 2nd, 2011, Apple is suspected to release the iPad 2.
Apple has already sent out invitations for the March 2nd media event, where they are suspected to release the iPad 2. The invitation for the event was a picture, seeming to be an iPad, with a “2″ in the center. As a result, people have speculated that the iPad 2 may be released at this event.
Speculations also suggest that the iPad 2 will contain a front camera, which is present on many competing devices already.
