Ryan Thompson is the founder, CEO, General Manager and lead anchor of Channel 6 News. Ryan has been with Channel 6 News, since its start in March 2007. Ryan has a passion for the news, and enjoys being a part of Channel 6. “My favorite thing I have ever done at Channel 6 was anchoring Election Night Live, that was such a great experience that I will never forget.” Ryan lead in the relaunch of Channel 6 during December 2008. “We have a whole new website, graphics, and new anchors…Channel 6 is going to be bigger and better than ever!” Ryan can be seen anchoring most news briefs as well as the Channel 6 Nightly News.

Eric Kanchuger

Eric Kanchuger is the Channel 6 News Sports Director. Eric joined Channel 6 News at in April 2010. Eric started by assisting behind the scenes during live broadcasts, and soon began posting sports stories and information on the station’s website and Facebook page. In his free time, Eric enjoys playing sports.

Jennie Malina

Jennie Malina is a general assignment reporter for Channel 6 News. Jennie’s areas of expertise are in technology and lifestyle. When Jennie is not on the air she enjoys baking.

Henry Slate is the Entertainment Director for Channel 6 News. Henry is also known to fill in as a general assignment reporter when needed.needed.

Nick Diao

Nick Diao is the international correspondent for Channel 6 News. Nick joined the station in January of 2011. In addition to reporting, Nick divides his time between school, tennis, and music.

Stephani Spindel

Stephani Spindel is a general assignments reporter at Channel 6 News. Stationed in Florida as a student journalist, she spends her time studying, playing tennis, and volunteering at a local aquarium.

Jack Rovello

Jack Rovello is a sports contributor that knows more about the NBA, NFL, and the MLB that almost anyone. With his love for all sports, he enjoys to write about the biggest and most exciting games. If you ever have a question on who is going to win a game, Jack is the guy you want to ask.

Jonah Malter

Jonah Malter is apart of the Channel 6 News sports department. Jonah joined the station in October 2010. Jonah is mainly behind the scenes working hard to write the latest breaking sports news that needs to be read on-air. On call, Jonah is also a general assignment reporter.

Madison Derose is a weekend anchor for Channel 6 News. After joining the station for Election Night, she began writing and eventually hosting weekend news briefs.

Marissa Kelly is a general assignment reporter for Channel 6 News. She joined Channel 6 in November 2009 after spending several years helping out behind the camera. In her free-time she enjoys competitively swimming and shopping.

Elliot is a daily contributor to Channel 6 News specializing in politics. Based out of Boston, Elliot also manages the 5newsnow Twitter account which has over 390 followers. He is known for his strong, unique news gathering skills. He is also a Channel 6 affiliate and is key member of the newsnow organization.
